I have made a short, animated explainer about the Omicron variant and how if diverges from the Delta (and other) variants of SARS-CoV-2. Watch it here. The data for the World map is from GISAID (www.gisaid.org), whereas all other information is from the research papers listed at the end as references.

I have made an animation, that compares the COVID-19 numbers (infected, hospitalized, tested) in Denmark week by week in 2020 and 2021.
